Innovative, yes. An art piece, yes. Practical, *yes*! Imagine using this clever system in a 600 square foot apartment in Manhattan. In moments your one neat little Magic rocker morphs into a quartet of chairs for when guests arrive. Genius!
The major task for Roy and his team at Puur in designing the Magic Chair I'm certain was in coming up with a process to create this in molded wood, whereas IKEA will probably knock this off in some form of brightly colored plastic and it'll be in every office and living room in no time.
